Time to get moving!

So it is now 3 weeks after the big MOVE to Fond du Lac and I am finally getting the itch to knit back. My first project in the new house is going to be a stuffed Monkey for my favorite boss/best friend's birthday. Need to finish before May 24th.. I can do it! Well enough sitting on my butt.. I'm gonna go dig out some yarn and get started!!

Baby socks

My first pair of socks. They came out super cute! Knit in Caron Simply Soft to match the sweater I knit for baby S. I just hope they stay on the tiny kicking feet of the lil guy.

Striped Baby Sweater & Kiddy Cadet Hat

Blue & White striped baby sweater made in what looks to be a 3 month size. Used Caron Simply Soft, its a soft, affordable, machine-washable yarn, I love it for making baby clothes. And the Kiddy Cadet Hat I used Vana's choice in the color Olive. I loved making these, they were super easy to make and came out TOO CUTE!!

Busy, busy, busy...

Oh so busy with moving and the kids and the puppy. Until a week ago I haven't knit in over a month.. But I busted out the needles and yarn and have about a million projects I want to start and make. Let's see, I haven't posted pictures of..

I also made Tim & Lisa's new baby a bird mobile, and am currently working on a cute little blue and white striped cardigan for another new nephew coming into my life.

Cabled Fingerless Mittens

Some Cabled Fingerless Mittens. This yarn was difficult to work with, no stretch and the fibers split a lot! Glad they are done!

Bella's Mittens

As seen in the movie Twilight, worn by Bella Swan. Saw some for sale online for $60.00. I made them for $4.00! I love them! Gonna make some more to sell at Zedland Farm this fall! Look for them!

Whoa its been a while..

Wow I kinda forgot I made a blog!! lol Doesnt really matter.. I don't think anyone looks at it anyway! But.. I have been busy.. knitting. Since my last post I made 3 pumpkin hats, one strawberry hat (that got destroyed), a sweater for my mom, cabled fingerless mitts, and a pair of "bella's mittens" from the movie twilight. <3 love it! So.. I will post some pictures.. if I can find them! Lol!
